Smokeless Cigarettes

As I mentioned in my last post electronic cigarettes are becoming very popular because they are in essence a smokeless cigarette. In my personal opinion the fact that they are smokeless makes them one of the greatest things to happen to smoking in history(though I have to admit being a cigar and pipe smoker as well, that they wouldn’t be very interesting if they became smokeless).

Smokeless cigarettes are great for many different reasons. The biggest thing is smoking in public places. I currently live in Colorado and my state has taken a lot of steps to “combat” smoking. The main thing they went after was smoking in public buildings. I don’t know what its like right now in the rest of the country, or even outside of the country, but you can’t smoke indoors anywhere anymore. No longer can you get a smoking room at a hotel or a smoking table in a resteraunt-they simply no longer exist.

Of course, this is all in the name of saving our children from the evils of second hand smoke. This is all very noble, but in the end it really doesn’t work out very well for us. Finally though, we have a simple fix-smokeless cigarettes. While this doesn’t really help the cigar or pipe smoker who can no longer smoke indoors, it does help the majority of the smoking population who only smoke cigarettes.

The big moment for me was when one of my friends, a cigarette smoker, was at red lobster eating-where of course, we aren’t allowed to smoke anymore. He whips out an electronic smokeless cigarette and just starts smoking. The waitress looks at him kind of funny, so he explains what it is and she has no problem with it. This was one of the first time I had ever heard of the concept-and at the time they were still very new. So as you might expect I was sold on the idea. What else can be said?-if you no longer want to deal the hassle of smoking laws- try out smokeless cigarettes! I have no doubt that you will be impressed.
