What I think they were aiming for here is that the box would last almost exactly as long as a pack of normal cigarettes.

This cigarette is also what you would consider a mini electronic cigarette because it is not much bigger than a normal cigarette. It comes appart into 3 pieces, an atomizer, cartridge, and battery. In one box you get 4 cartridges. You can get it in 3 different flavors(at the time of writing this)- regular, cherry, and menthol.

My favorite thing about these is just how much smoke you get when you draw from it. It really gives you that nice feeling in the back of your throat that you don’t normally get from electronic cigarettes(or atleast to the same extent). However, I did have a little bit of trouble getting the atomizer to work correctly. So, I tried a mod I read about in another review. He suggested covering 3 of the 4 holes with scotch tape. It worked like a charm.

The next thing I really liked about the Krave was how everything looked. The cigarette itself is actually pretty standard, but of much nicer quality than many of the disposable models on the market. The packaging just has a great look to it that really reminds me of a regular pack of cigarettes.

The last thing is that there wasn’t a shut off time when taking an inhale like you normally get on other models. This makes it much more like a regular cigarette.

What We Didn’t Like About The Smoke 51 Krave Electronic Cigarette

To be completely honest, I’m not that big a fan of the entire concept of disposable electronic cigarettes. I want to buy a nice unit and have it last a very long time. That said, my biggest problem with the Krave was the price. You can normally get them for around $20-which sounds great at first. Keep in mind, this is only a third of the price of a Blu starter kit and the unit will only last you about as long as 1 pack of regular cigarettes. Even when I smoked more expensive cigarettes like American Spirit(running me something like $8 a pack) it was only a fraction of that price.

I’ve also heard of people having problems with their batteries more than once, but I didn’t experience anything like this. Its hard to say if it is a common problem or not.

However, my only real complaint is about the value of buying a disposable electronic cigarette.

Conclusion

All in all, I would describe this as a very average unit. There is nothing about it that is so bad I wouldn’t suggest you buy it(that is, if you are fine with it being disposable-which many people prefer), and there isn’t anything so great about it that I would suggest you buy it over a Blu start kit.

The very first thing that jumps out at me about Blu Cigs is that they absolutely ooze sex appeal. I may find another brand at some point in the future but I have never seen another electronic cigarette that is so incredible looking. Everything from the glossy white or black finish on the e-cig to the blue light on the tip just looks incredible.

The starter kit is fairly extensive which is really great. In one start kit you will get 2 battery/atomizers, 25 cartridges(5 of each of their 5 flavors-Tobacco, Menthol, Cherry, Vanilla and Java), wall charger, usb charger, blu-pack portable charger, quick start guide, and instruction manual.

What I find most interesting is the blu-pack portable charger which looks like a glossly black cigarette package. When blu-cigs came on the market they were the only ones with a portable charger like this, since then there have been a few copycats. What this does is holds some extra vapor cartridges and charge the atomizer. This is a great way to carry your electronic cigarettes and stretches the battery life considerably when compared to another e-cig without the portable charger.

What We Liked About The Blu Cigs Electronic Cigarette

If I haven’t already made it incredibly clear, I love the way this thing looks and feels. The pure sex appeal has already been delved into enough in this review so allow me to move on. The value of the starter kit is better than any of the other on the market. Blu Cigs also gives you free shipping on their website on both kits and refill cartridges which makes a huge difference in the long run, because if you use this thing often you will be ordering new cartridges more often then you would think.

I really like the portable charger as I have already mentioned, and I like that the electric cigarettes themselves are pretty small. The portable charger is capable of holding a fully stocked atomizer/battery combination and can hold up to 5 refill cartridges. If you want you can put a second atomizer inside it if you give up one of the refill cartridges. The charger will recharge it 5 times so you can get through a fully stocked “pack” before anything needs to be plugged into a wall.

What We Didn’t Like About Blu Cigs Electronic Cigarettes

One of the biggest complaints that is said about these cigarettes is that the vapor production can be very bellow average. I experienced this myself. This is caused because the foil seal on the cartridges isn’t completely removed when you plug them in. I would suggest you take the time to completely remove the seals rather than just following the instructions to simply puncture them. It will make a big difference.

I also find the battery life shorter than on most e-cigs. For me the battery lasted just a little bit longer than the time it takes to smoke an entire refill cartridge. Of course, this is easily made up for by the portable charging blu-pack. In some situations it can still be really annoying though.

I also have a bit of a problem with the charging lights. They are really confusing. You can plug in your charging pack, a blue light comes on on the side. You would expect it to go off when it is done charging, but instead goes on and off intermittently for no apparent reasons. I have generally just had to guess when it is actually done. I hope this will be fixed with future models.

Conclusion

Without a doubt, this is my first choice for an electronic cigarette. Despite all its failures it is extraordinary and looks truly incredible. I have said it once already and I will say it again, and I think it says it all-this is the Iphone of electronic cigarettes.

To begin with, I think that the NPRO mini looks pretty nice. You can get it in four different colors(at the time of writing this), which include black, white, burgundy, and silver. The white, burgundy, and silver have a very high gloss look to them while the black is a lot more of a subtle matte black. There is a small gold band where the battery/atomizer housing meet up with the cartridge. This really ads some style to it-especially on the white and black models.

The starter kit of this model costs about $80 right now. While that may immediately sound high you need to remember that this is a US company unlike half of the ones on the market right now and you will have trouble getting customer service, a 1 year warranty, and a 30 day money back guarantee make this an incredible deal. Most companies just aren’t willing to stand behind their product that way.

The cartridges are replaceable in ten packs and come in 5 flavors which are tobacco, menthol, vanilla, strawberry, and apple. Each cartridge is supposed to last as long as 10 normal cigarettes, but as any person who has used an electronic cigarette for any period of time will tel you, this is highly subjective and depends mostly on your smoking habits(how long and how much you inhale for example).

The first thing that really jumps out at me about this mini electronic cigarette is the fact that it is put together exceptionally well. The construction of it just feels solid. Many people might jump out and complain that the nicotine cartridges are too tight of a fit but I find this to be a major plus. When compared to some models by other manufactures, particularly the cheap Chinese rip-off types of brands, which are notorious for the nicotine cartridge not fitting quit right, this is a sigh of relief.

What We Didn’t Like About The Njoy Npro Mini

I have already praised the way it looks but to be honest the way the entire thing comes together doesn’t necessarily look the best. It is mainly the cartridge. It has a kind of beige color that is supposed to look like a cigarette filter but doesn’t look quite right. Even next to the white it looks kind of funny, and can just look bad next to some of the other colors. This is all just a matter of opinion though.

The other thing is also about the appearance. The light on the tip is intentionally orange and really closely mimics the way that a real cigarette looks. I prefer for mine to be very obviously not a real cigarette especially when I plan on using it in a public building(where cigarettes are banned). However, some people may see this a plus.

The last thing is that there have been many complaints about the battery wearing out way too fast. I haven’t used it long enough to notice anything like this. I will update if ever notice any problems.

Otherwise I don’t have any major complaints from my short time using it. It is by no means perfect but there really aren’t that many things that really stick out as bad, and that leads to my….

Conclusion

I would give this an above average rating. The construction is top notch and it has a great warranty. On top of that I have no complaints about its operation. The fact that there isn’t anything terribly outstanding, good or bad, about this mini electronic cigarette makes it a great buy.

The main one is that many smokers “crave” the feeling and sensation of smoking more than anything else-this is really how habits work. The physical act of smoking is what many people deeply associate with the high that they get whilst smoking. This of course is one of the main reasons why people have so much trouble quitting smoking. The patches and gum may give them the buzz they are looking for but it doesn’t do anything to help them deal with the want to physically smoke.

This is where the electronic “quit smoking cigarette” comes in. You can still have the experience of smoking but you can slowly limit the amount of nicotine you receive from each puff by buying cartridges or liquid-depending on brand- of different strengths. The idea is to slowly ween yourself off of the nicotine until you no longer really feel like you need.

Many people have contended that this sounds very good in theory but doesn’t actually work this way. Many people have successfully quit smoking this way however. What it really comes down to in the end is finding the best way to quit smoking for you. Not everyone is the same and we shouldn’t expect them all to be able to quit smoking in the same way. Therefor, if you feel an electronic cigarette will help you quit then you should definitely give it a try.

If nothing else you will discover a new way to smoke that doesn’t do nearly the damage to your health and your wallet that traditional cigarettes do.

Smokeless cigarettes are great for many different reasons. The biggest thing is smoking in public places. I currently live in Colorado and my state has taken a lot of steps to “combat” smoking. The main thing they went after was smoking in public buildings. I don’t know what its like right now in the rest of the country, or even outside of the country, but you can’t smoke indoors anywhere anymore. No longer can you get a smoking room at a hotel or a smoking table in a resteraunt-they simply no longer exist.

Of course, this is all in the name of saving our children from the evils of second hand smoke. This is all very noble, but in the end it really doesn’t work out very well for us. While this doesn’t really help the cigar or pipe smoker who can no longer smoke indoors, it does help the majority of the smoking population who only smoke cigarettes.

The big moment for me was when one of my friends, a cigarette smoker, was at red lobster eating-where of course, we aren’t allowed to smoke anymore.
